INTRODUCTION

A site on astronomy, a site on teaching, a site on Science, with a capital S. In a world where people tend to have so many doubts and are often misled by fake news on social media with so many fears of knowing the truth, I want to propose a place of "scientific relaxation", where to find information and knowledge, where to turn for help . The theme is obviously ASTRONOMY, an ancient science, the first science that man has faced, studied, observed. Because raising your eyes to the sky and being amazed by the Moon, by the stars of the Milky Way, by the whirling rotation of the Galilean satellites of Jupiter around the gas giant, is not only a joy but a right for everyone. And everyone can get close to these wonders, in a simple and intuitive way. Try to browse the various menu items: you will find images, stories, articles and training proposals, for all ages and for all levels. The site is new, so be patient and let us grow, every week you will find something new and captivating but always immersed in the infinite sky that amazes us more every day.

ABOUT ME

By profession an artist in the field of computer graphics and visual effects for cinema and television, with his Pixel Cartoon studio, working both in Italy and abroad (London) for many years, he's been an amateur astronomer and astrophotographer for a very long time. More recently graduated in astronomy at the university of Bologna, he is turning his passion into a profession, with didactic collaborations in the field of astronomy and physics linked above all to scientific visualization.

For over 20 years he has been a teacher of graphics, animation and computer science courses at national academies (LABA of Brescia / Rovereto), University of Bologna (DAMS), Istituto Pavoniano Artigianelli of Trento, in both public and private university courses.

The language of science is rigorous, but through the curiosity and the pleasure of discovery and experiment, children from primary schools up to secondary school children of I and II can apply the experimental scientific method, introduced by Galileo Galilei in the distant past. 1600 to better understand any activity proposed in this educational program.

Not just Astronomy though. Projects are offered in physics, space science, space flights and astronautics, up to lessons in understanding our planet earth, depending on the scientific discoveries made for example by NASA for applications in everyday life, promoting knowledge not only in the scientific, but also creative (for the little ones) and cognitive fields, in order to help children build important links between different scientific subjects and fields.

It is a different, intense and practical way of becoming aware of astronomical science, to find one's place in Space, the one with a capital S, so full of wonderful stars but still so unknown.

Bits of Universe

What drives us to look towards the sky as soon as the darkness envelops us? An ancestral call, a need for freedom, an innate curiosity that permeates the life of all the men and women of our tiny planet, which is only a grain of sand in the immense folds of the Universe.
